History
Manor House Day Care has its roots in a local childminding business; 10 years ago Managing Director and Founder, Kerry Pimley, discovered it was becoming increasingly difficult to find quality, reliable and affordable childcare with minimal impact on working parents.
With a young daughter of her own, she decided to enter the market as childminder with a view to offering a service that was run on business principles, and a core focus on the EYFS curriculum to ensure the personal development of each child - but with a human touch.
Affordablility was at the heart of this offering. "As a working mother myself, I understood the costs involved, and the difficulty in finding reliable childcare," she says. Demand proved to be high, with long waiting lists and regular enquiries, which then led to a desire to deliver the same levels of service, but on much a grander scale.
After years of research and observation - and a painstaking search for the "right" venue, and the subsequent renovation of it - Manor House Day Care was born. Set in the grounds of the beautiful Manor House Gardens, on the lower ground floor of Manor House Library, the business opened to coincide with the beginning of the 2017-18 school year.
Today, the business goes from strength to strength; market research depicts Manor House Day Care as one of the best value for money childcare businesses in the local area, as well as one of, if not the most affordable. With the addition of a new After School club for Brindishe Lee school and an in-house Pre-School, Manor House Day Care continues to grow, without forgetting the core beliefs that set the tone for the business all those years ago.

Our committed staff are hugely experienced, and continually invested in their own personal development, with both on the job training and external courses being provided by us at regular intervals.
We take the training and qualification of our staff incredibly seriously, in the hope that we can provide peace of mind for you as a parent when choosing to leave your child in our care.
PREMISES
The pictureseque Manor House Gardens - situated close to local schools - provides the setting for Nursery and additional services - a calm, serene and beautiful environment for your child to enjoy during their in our care.
Residing on the lower ground floor of the historic Manor House Library - which we also have access to - our setting is second to none, and we make use of it at every possible opportunity.
